Death can be an emotionally painful time. However the words of Allah (swt) and Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) continue to give Muslims hope of a reuniting with loved ones. Allah (swt)’s plan is constructed to the perfect second as there is not even a leaf that falls without His permission. May He take us while we are believers.
“Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world an in the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous.”

Abu Sa’id and Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Remind those who are on their death bed of the Shahadah “La’Ilaha illall-ah….” (for them to say it, hoping it will be their last words)”
Of the five rights of a believer one is to attend Janaza prayers and follow the processions. We should pray for others as we would like others to pray for us.
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Whoever follows a funeral and offers the funeral prayer then leaves, will have one Qirat reward. And whoever follows it and offers the funeral prayer then stays until the burial is completed will have two Qirat of reward, both of which are greater than Uhud.”

From ICLI via LIE
Exit (#63) off LIE and merge onto Express Drive South. Turn left onto North Ocean Avenue which will become Patchogue- Mount Sinai Road. After 13 minutes or so you will see Canal Road. Turn right on Canal Road. Then make a slight right to stay on Canal Road. Finally, Washington Memorial Cemetery will be on the left.
